The Battle for the conservitive movement's soul.

                   With the Republican party being chastised in the US House of Representatives and Senate in the mid term elections. It was not a suprise to me and might be a blessing in disguise for the conservative movement.   One of the problems is we have sift the wheat from the chaff. That means separating the RINO neo conservatives from the true conservatives.  President Bush choosing Senator Mel Marinez was adding insult to injury to the conservative movements. Mel Martinez is not a conservative. He was the author of Senate bill 2611 giving blanket amnesty to 20 million illegal immigrants.  It is going to be an ugly 2 years for the GOP because the party establishment pushing amnesty when the grassroots is dead set against it. I can see if Tom Tancredo or Ron Paul decide to run for the GOP nomination on a Reaganite Platform,  Nationalist revival ,pro enforcement rule of law, A candidate who will follow thru with the promise to punish employers and deport those illegally here. I can see the party elite trying to short circuit any attempt of a Tom tancredo like candidate from getting the nomination to please the  corporate donors and the cheap labor lobby. I do not see it getting any better. I see it being a chaotic two years.

A Driver Licence is a right,Not a priveledge

         I get so infuriated when some cop,politician and government worker says driving is a privilege. The constitution forbids government to no restrict the freedom of movement by regulations or laws. That means licences,registrations,making it mandetory to carry insurence to drive. When the states passed that all cars have to be insured. It is kind of wierd to see explosion of new breed of lawyers called ambulance chasers and to add the explosion of insurence fraud that followed.
          Florida were I live will suspend your licence for not renewing your pets tags if they can get away from it. The only authority can take away the right to drive should be the judge. not the DMV or any other state agency,
          Due Process must be restored.

Illegal immigration vs Christanity

          I know people of faith who serve the Lord diligently are wrestling with conflict over illegal immigration and serving our fellow man. For starters I would not discourage you to keep feeding and helping them if they have need. As Chistians we have an opportunity to move in a different approach. First lets lay hold of what the Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson strategy is"rebuilding the man" Mexican men have the machismo macho passive culture which is at odds with our culture.
          The country of Mexico needs our prayers and needs a genuine move of God to move the hearts of the nation. rebuilding the Mexican man into a man of good Character is the first step. The second step is teaching him the principles of confronting the corruption and evil that plaques his land as we did with King George III. The principles in the Bible gives the blue print to resist corruption and tyranny.
            So as we Americans pray for Israel and America. Lets not forget our neigbor Mexico to the south. Our prayers will do more for them than our politicians can do.

Time to Repeal the 17th Amendmant

                Looking back in history from 1913 till now since the 17th amendment was ratified. We can see a pattern emerge on the Federal Government gradually usurping power away from the States. The original intent in the was the US Senate was made up with two people from each state appointed by the legislator as an ambassador to keep federal power in check within its function delegated by the US Constitution. This mechanism with the founders intent of checks and balances between state and federal governments. 
               The 10th amendment gave states rights respectively without federal interference not delegated by the articles of confederation. The State Legislators gave instruction to the US Senators on how to vote in legislation concerning the interest of the respective states.
               If you look at all that happened ever since. We went from "No taxation without representation" to "Taxation without hesitation" Since 1913 more federal power has become more centralized in Washington DC.
               If there was no 17th amendment. Would there be a federal reserve act?
The states would not allow monetary policy to be dictated by a privately own institution.
               Would the States allow the Social security act? Would it allow OSHA?Dept of Education? The EPA? Dept of Agriculture and all other alphabet agencies? The truth is the regulation and policies have caused companies to move offshore because to cost to comply became expensive operate. The unfunded mandates put fiscal pressures on the states.
                All politics is local said Tip Oniel. The US Senate is distant under popular vote from the people they are supposed to serve. S-2611 bill says it all. Many states can not afford to carry illegal immigrants. Sen. Mel Martinez blew off the Florida voters. When our US senators become beholden to big contributors than the states interest and there duty under Article 4 section 4 to secure the borders is a no can do thing to satisfy special interest lobbies.
                 THe NEA the most powerful teachers union and lobbyist .In there efforts of lobbying centralized power in Washington creating the Dept. of Education usurping the power from the states to determine policy in the public school system. Would the States appointing the Senators made a difference? Maybe yes because the US senate would be on guard against the US house if they received instruction from the States to oppose the measure. Would the be an IRS or a federal income tax knowing the burden can cripple economic freedom.
                America would be different if the states did not surrender its right under the articles of confederation and the bill of rights of the US Constitution. Would there be a patriot act? No because the states would instruct the senator to vote no on a bill you can not debate or take time to read that is totaly unconstitutional. Now is the time for the states to be engaged in Federal policy again by repealing the 17th amendment

The Bush Legacy could be demestic chaos

             Last weekend I asked a question in an email to Debbie Schlussel about militant latino organizations about their connection with middle eastern terror groups were my worst fear of another F.L.A.N. type groups rear it's ungly head. She confirmed it is true.
             No Mr. President we will not win the war on radical islam when we have a border wide open both north and south. Canada has taken in admitted terrorist, Mexico is so corrupt that entry is up to the highest bidder that gets bribed and payed off. Osama Bin Laden can enter mexico and pass into America in a biker outfit and get in. Thats how wide open we are. I have buried my mother this week and she is a reminder of the world that was. Now she is laid to rest I fear for my children will have to fight this war too. I am fighting every were I can so they will not have to fight on battlefields our leaders do not have to will to fight. Our unsecured border is another front in this war. Casper Wienberger who was President Reagans secretary of Defense predicted a war with Mexico in his book because their disregard for our sovereignty and its unwillingness to reform itself. Mexico does harbor terrorist in safe houses all around the country and will only get shut down when US anti terror forces find out. But President Bush and President Vicente Fox are buddies so how can this be?
            The TSA is a joke shaking down old ladies in wheelchairs with arthritis so bad they could not press a detonator if they wanted to or use a zippo lighter to light up their shoe. We must not offend muslims,hispanics,this group or that group is the rule of political correctness. We have spanish speaking radio and TV stations encouraging subverting the laws of the land. But the FCC will go after Howerd Stern. So who does this offend? The people who play by the rules that work,pay bills,taxes and raise their families. These people are not all white. They are blacks hispanic,asians and everything in between who made the choice to be responsible These fringe groups on the other end practice selective outrage and victimization with the blessing of the mainstream media and our so called conservative leaders do not challenge it all except talk radio who is carrying the water.
             So do not be surprised if an event happens that awakens the sleeping giant again which will be a new meaning of the government fearing the people. It is bubbling and festering so we all will wait ansd see. For I have written is to say our real crises is the lack of leadership in our government because it's culture is not in touch with the American people

Before I say goodbye Mom I love you

        On July 18th my mother passed away which would be her 36th wedding anniversary. My father passed away 9 months before. Ever since memories running in my mind at the times mom was there to feed me, take me to my first day of school, nurse me when I was sick and to love her son when I was at my worst. I can recall when she took care of my wounds from road rash when I wrecked my bicycle. I remember also when she whooped my rear end when I needed. She always treasured the proud moments when we did our best.
        As I write this blog with a heavy heart and when she is put to rest. I will be lost without her for a little bit. I will always value my mom, I may had disagreed with her time to time, She always had us kids best interest a heart. God has blessed my mother with 3 kids. Now the Lord called her home because as a mother and a grandmother to 6 grandchildren she did good. Her work is done as a mom and time to leave the burden of this world. Mom I love you and will miss you . Goodbye

Cities with gun control laws could make perfect terror targets

         Some us have to wonder why New York,Los Angeles and Chicago. Why not Dallas, and Atlanta? For a terrorist what would they do? This my theory. The big apple, city of angles and the windy city all have to most restrictive gun control laws were a law abiding person has a problem obtaining a firearm by legal means. Not to mention London were the country back in the 1990s severely infringed on gun rights of its people. Could a person with a concealed weapon stop the train bombings in London? We will never know. 
         Now to New York city.  Will all the terror threats about hitting the subway to the financial district and the transit system. Mayor Bloomberg can put all the cops of NYPD out 24/7 and still can not be everywhere at once. The big Apple has one of the most restrictive gun laws. A law abiding person has a impossible chance of obtaining a permit  owning a firearm in New York city. It is easier to go to the Bronx to a dealer on the streets than go thru the red tape.
         I believe a it would make a difference if the city issued concealed and carry permits to privet citizens were they can take them on the trains and around the city. The police only have two eyes and with 911 calling in suspicious activity may not be enough. It may be too late if response is slow. So why not put homeland security in the hands of the people? For the right for people the to defend themselves is a God given  that should not be infringed upon. If New York gets hit. An attack could be averted if a person(s)with concealed weapon permits be allowed. Liberalism has so made it that  the average New Yorker believe they can not trust themselves with firearms which is a shame. So consider this If Al quaida,Hamas, Hezbolla ,or Islamic Jihad want to target a city. Consider one of the factors is that the people are disarmed in New York,LA and Chicago Thats what Bin Laden is maybe counting on. An unarmed population
          So next time The federal government  distribute money to major cities for homeland security. Make it a criteria that these cities drop there gun control laws and allow law abibing people to carry a gun. In the future it would not suprise me if a major attack is stopped not by the police or the FBI but a citizen exercising his second amendmant right.

Wet Noodle Europeans and apeasers beware of history

           I am flabbergasted over the countries in the EU condemning Israel for defending itself against a foe that seeks to destroy the Holyland. The moral judgement the France,Italy and the Vatican is so backwards. Has the influx of Muslims into their population intimidated them? Condemning Israel and appeasing the Islamic factions is the guarantee of safety? History tell a different story. Radical Muslims and communism seek world domination. Coexistence with Christanity, Capitalism and other institutions a free people embrace in the civilized world is impossible. Radicals have it my way or six feet under.
           Israel is going to fight the battles our soldiers will not have to fight to bring a decisive victory in the war on Islamic fascism. Israel if unhindered can bring a free democratic Iran minus the mullahs. So you Iranian exiles in Europe and America. Not so fast. The war could bring a free iran and if it happens say thank you Israel and the United States.

We must be better people to win

             As the coming months come. The immigration debate will heat up and it is going to get very ugly for both sides. So to my fellow patriots must show restraint and keep a higher standard than expected. 
             That means no Arian Brotherhood ,Klu Klux Klan and Neo Nazis type of rhetoric or allowing them to use this issue for thier own gains. It would make us no better than the other side. We have Hispanic,Blacks,Asians and all walks who share our common concern and we do not need to alienate any ethnic group.
              We are Americans first and must have a united front against a groups trying calling us racist,nativist or fascist.
               So lets be slow to anger. When they fly the Mexican flag and burn ours. Pray like Jesus our lord and savior hanging on the cross"Forgive them father,they know not what they do"

Florida get real. Lets drill

          I like anyone else who lives in Florida. I take pride in our nice beaches too. But this reluctance to allow offshore drilling is a very pressing problem. With Israel on the brink of full scale war, Hugo Chavez and the leftist movement in Latin America and fighting in Nigeria. The price of a barrel can jump to $100.So get real!
          Florida depends on revenue from the tourist industry. Well tourism is no good if the price of fuel too high to afford a visit to Florida. So my advice to Senator Nelson and Martinez is not to block the house bill for offshore drilling. It is in the countries best interest to allow a vote. Not only for our economic well being. Also for our national security. To depend on oil from OPEC is insane at this point. We have enough oil here in the 48 states and Alaska too to supply us for many years to come and insulate us from tin horn dictators words of rhetoric.

The coming clash between the Elites and the common peaple

            Hearing Mayor Bloomberg saying his economy would implode if all the illegal invaders were deported. Seeing the Senate Bill and the House Bill means it is the tale of two communities. Main Street USA vs K Street Washington,DC. Corporate America is getting a black eye when large companies have either slave labor in China or hired illegals. Keep labor cost down is their motto at all cost. Never mind the rule of law, the burden on the law-abiding taxpayers, the strain on healthcare and the diseases they bring in. Never mind right or wrong, Loyalty to the country that made them prosper is second to the bottom line. Everything is the bottom line regardless of the consequences that may befall we outside the boardroom have to put up with. With ENRON,Tycho and Worldcom going under due to misleading shareholders. I wonder what other laws they are breaking? They knowingly hire illegals with impunity and what else are they up to?
          When the senate passed a bill opposite what the american people wanted and what the business interest are. When it is good for CEOs and not good for national security and the country. It is time for reform
           Lets repeal the 17th amendment and allow the original intent of our founders that the state legislators choose two senators instead of popular vote. It is time for the State governing bodies to have say in policy. If they were not a 17th amendment we would not see a disastrous senate bill which is Amnesty because the states would not put up with the cost of unfunded mandates.
         Present day we have elitist of 100 people living in a cocoon were lobbyist have less politicians to deal with and knowing they are most distant from the people of the states that sent them. It is clear the immigration debate is a clash between a repreasentive government and special interest groups were my Senator Mel Martinez and Senator Bill Nelson have the ear of their big contributors rather the people of the state of Florida. So on Labor Day lets march on Washington demanding the rule of law be upheld, For our national pride we must take it from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave to the Capital rotunda. Now it our turn to take it to the streets and be heard.

Mecha needs a history lesson

           It really get my blood boiling hearing we stole the southwest from Mexico. From 1846 to 1848 we were at war with Mexico over territory because of the annexation of Texas. President Polk sent the Army to the Rio Grande to secure the border. To the Mexican government was considered an act of war. This was the start of the Mexican war.  To tell history is not always pleasant. We were not out to conquer a sovereign nation to annex it. The Army did occupy Mexico city till a new government was formed and crafted the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. This defined the post war land boundaries between the United States and Mexico.
           There is also the Gadsden Purchase. James Gadsden, U.S. Minister to Mexico, and General Antonio López de Santa Anna, President of Mexico, signed the Gadsden Purchase in Mexico City on December 30, 1853. The treaty settled the dispute over the exact location of the Mexican border west of El Paso, Texas, giving the U.S. claim to approximately 29,000 square miles of land in what is now southern New Mexico and Arizona, for the price of $10,000,000. So were is the theft of land? There was a war, After the war there was a peace treaty ceasing all hostilities between the United States and Mexico. With a 10 million dollar land purchase payed to the Mexican Government from our treasury.
           For those people who claim the southwest United States and Norte Mexico calling it AZLAN claiming the Aztec land. The only native indian tribes on record I can recall are the Navajo. Apache and Pueblo indians in the southwest United States.
            The present day Mexican government with it's parliament calling for the retaking of the southwest states is in violation of the treaties Mexico agreed to. So all who claiming the re conquering of US soil to Norte Mexico better consider the source. Combating Multi culturism

              Hearing from the talk radio host were reports of non english speaking radio and TV stations stoking the fires over house immigration bill prior to the demonstrations in major cities around the country.
              If we had a Pro American leadership. He would order the FCC to not issue any licences to any station that will not broadcast in english. No more non english TV stations,radio stations or print media. These are the all the elements to create a seperatist movement.(Remember Quebec?)
             English should be the legal language. The first amendment protects political opposition from reprisals from the government and not the vehicle which it is used to express it. If someone has a grievance with the government say it in english instead of behind our backs in in another language.
             If all media was in english. Those who came here from other countries would be forced to learn english to function as a productive member of society. It is not to be harsh or mean not by any means. I remember living in San Bernadino,Ca. years ago. I seen little latino communities that resembled the slums of their homeland. There was poverty in the community with high crime rate. There was a spanish newspaper,radio stations and TV stations within there own communities on our soil. This separates them from the American dream creating no incentive to partake in our language and culture. This sown the seeds of discontent
             In my days early learning how to drive a tractor-trailor. I had an asian trainer who was here in the USA for 18 years. It was a very frustrating 2 weeks with him because I could not understand a word he was saying because of poor english. He watched TV shows in his native language, he read and spoke  the same which was not in english and this contributed to his lack of communication skills.
             Assimilation is the key. Immersion in english to make it here is the true pathway to averting a rising underclass. Abolish Bi Lingual education .I would encourage not to abandon the heritage or pride. I would encourage the virtues of self reliance and responsibility. If you are a person who is bitter at the United States for keeping you down. Well before you post your comment to bash me or my country. Listen closely. Those who say there is no need to learn english to function here want you bitter and poor. When they go home after there rants of anger at the white man they will not loose sleep because your poor. If you are a proud foriegn national who says we stole your land. Well hear this. In all the past world wars and the cold war. If the United States have not fought the Germans,Japanese, and stood up to Russia. You would either be speaking german,russian and japanese. It could be worse and have your country be taken over by a taliban style regime making you have to kneel on a rug facing Mecca forced to pray five times a day.
